Portugal Mobility

From May 6th to 9th, a student mobility program from the Erasmus+ project “CODE FOR CLIMATE CHANGE,” coordinated by Portugal, will take place at AEPBS.

A group of 27 students and teachers from Turkey, Serbia, Latvia, and Portugal will be promoting activities at our school group on global warming, the environment, and environmental solutions as a way to minimize negative impacts in Europe.

The day began with the opening ceremony, where the Director gave a welcome address. Students and teachers from EPBS were present at this event.

Following this, the school campus facilities were visited, and the project work began, namely: the creation of a podcast on sustainability and workshops on creating long-term sustainable solutions.

On the second and third days of the student mobility to Portugal for the Erasmus+ “Code for Climate Change” project (a project coordinated by Portugal), students and teachers developed 3D activities in the Digital Education Laboratory and finalized/presented podcasts on sustainability and environmental solutions.

The creation of a vertical garden and the practice of sports in the environment highlighted the importance and diversity of activities possible in a sustainable setting.

The third day concluded with the graduation ceremony for all students and teachers who participated in this mobility.

The fourth day (May 9th) of the Erasmus+ “Code for Climate Change” student mobility to Portugal was dedicated to culture and the beauty of our country.

The day began, at the invitation of the Vila Nova de Famalicão City Council, with ceremonies promoted by the municipality to commemorate Europe Day. Raising the European flag, listening to the European anthem, and walking through the city were some of the activities that this group was able to participate in.

Then, they headed to the cities of Porto and Braga. Monuments, gastronomy, and paradisiacal landscapes were captured by the eyes and palates of each one.

On Saturday, May 10th, it was time to return to their origins and their schools, with their bags full of new knowledge, eager to be shared with their school communities.

And so ends another Erasmus+ KA210 project of AEPBS which, for two years, allowed European contact and the sharing of experiences.
